Why is the BEAVER WORKS SUMMER INSTITUTE (BWSI) unique? We are teaching students technology not yet in textbooks!  The MIT Lincoln Laboratory Beaver Works Summer Institute is a rigorous program for talented high school students, features a 4-week long on campus programs for project-based workshop style courses. Some course examples include: Autonomous RACECAR, UAV Racing, and Cognitive Assistant. The program started in 2016 and significantly expanded in subsequent years and offering 13 courses during the Summer of 2023.  In addition, BWSI offers Spring (9th and 10th graders) and Fall (10th and 11th grade female students) outreach programs (virtual, 8 Saturdays, 3 hours each( and National Challenges during the school year.
