We look forward to seeing you at the Robotica UAS Summit!
The light is at the end of the tunnel for the COVID-19 pandemic. We have all been locked down for over 10 months, practicing social/physical distancing, we are all social beings and have become “Zoom” natives. It’s great to see that so many vaccine candidates have been developed and ‘printed’ globally, and are now being actively administered. Soon the worst of the pandemic will be behind us.
Until then we have moved to virtual meetings. The virtual meetings have been really good, and offered face-to-face interactions and networking opportunities. We have prepared a number of activities for the next few weeks and months. These include:
Robotica UAS Summit January 13-14, Virtual
The 2020 UAS Summit will take place the afternoons of January 13-14, 1pm-6pm each day. The fantastic and comprehensive program is on the chapter website. The UAS Summit features insightful Leadership Keynotes including:

Steven Bradford, Chief Scientific and Technical Advisor, FAA NextGen, will detail the FAA’s Roadmap for UTM and UAM, and importantly, how you can get access to the airspace.
Davis Hackenberg, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Mission Integration Manager. NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD), will provide an update on NASA’s Advanced Air Mobility Mission, and how you can work with NASA to facilitate access to airspace.
Scott Newbern, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, AeroVironment, will provide industry’s perspective and roadmap on how autonomy is increasing capabilities of UAS.
The action packed program features informative Panel Sessions, featuring government and industry leaders to include:
Federal/State/Local Government Collaboration in UAS/AAM: Finding a Path Through Overlapping Regulatory Authority
AAM Market Operationalization: When Will the Market Develop and What Are the Catalysts?
Advanced Technology: Identifying Next Generation Technologies and Solutions
Innovation: Using Collaboration to Develop a MA Roadmap and Drive AAM Innovation
Join our UAS Summit sponsors and co-hosts, and highlight your solutions. We feature an opportunity for UAS Summit Sponsors to showcase their firm and capabilities during Commercial Breaks. Another innovation at the UAS Summit is the ability for our registered attendees to participate in a Pitch Fest networking opportunity, where they can provide a short brief on what they are working on. This is a great opportunity to rapidly learn the various thrusts taking place from small, and large companies and federal and state officials.
There are opportunities to join and become a corporate sponsor. Your brand will be represented at the various events and publications throughout the year.
